The World Gets Ready to Riot

Violent protests continue in Greece over bankster attempts to impose austerity programs. But, where will it end? The financial situation in the United States is on the verge of a crisis of its own, with roaming gang bangers just looking for a reason to riot.

Even the relatively peaceful Canadians ripped apart sections of downtown Vancouver last night after the Canucks lost in the Stanley Cup Finals to the Boston Bruins. How can this be viewed as anything but a precursor to what may happen in the U.S. when the crisis hits home?

Take a look at these photos from the chaos last night in Vancouver and think of what a New York, Chicago or Los Angeles version of this would be like under more serious concerns such as out of control inflation.

  1. Look at all those broken windows. According to Keynes, this should be bullish for Vancouver's economy.

  2. Wow. This makes the celebrations of Lakers fans look tame by comparison.

  3. Well, the riots in Vancouver certainly do suggest a new connotation for the phrase, Hockey Night in Canada.
