Gold Hits New Record High

The spot price of gold hit a new record, touching $1,578.89 a troy ounce. The old record was $1,576.52 an ounce.

  1. Bernanke says the Fed is looking at "untested means" to stimulate the economy if it doesn't improve.

    Anyone taking bets on the Fed going with negative interest on excess reserves? Hyperinflation, here we come....

  3. The real question now is when to cash out your 401(k) and put it in metals. QE{n} will doubtless wipe out the value of equities in the long run, but only after they run up first.
