Perry reportedly met former Bush aides Doug Feith and William Luti, both strong internal backers of the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq, as well as William Inbolden and Daniel Fata, whose article today is headed, "Why Iraq Still Matters."
The names of invitees to the Wednesday briefing -- and impressions from attendees at the meeting -- suggested to GOP foreign policy hands that Perry will likely stand on the hawkish side of a foreign policy divide inside the Republican Party...
"These are staunch internationalists, conservatives -- very much guys who are committed to victory in the conflicts we are engaged in," said a leader of that wing of the party, which is sometimes called, or calls itself, neoconservative. "These are not the sort of pople Huntsman or Mitch Daniels or even Bachmann would reach out to."

Rick Perry as Hardcore Neocon War Hawk
Ben Smith at Politico says Perry is even worse than Michelle Bachmann:

Perry is a neocon and also very beholden to the Israeli Lobby as are Bachmann and Palin.
ReplyDeletePerry = Bush in the eyes of Americans. Obama can beat him on that alone, and the GOP needs to realize this fact.
ReplyDeleteSame for Tee-Paw, Newt, and Google Santorum.
Bachmann was a tax collector. TEA Party...? Not so much.
The ONLY squeaky clean candidate in the race is Ron Paul. CNN says he's the only GOPer that can beat Obama in the general.
So the GOP has a hard decision: nominate Paul and win, but lose ground on their interventionist, neoconservative, corporate-fascist agenda; or nominate someone else... ANYONE else... and let the Democrats push their version of the same agenda.

There is a dovish side of the Republican Party ?
ReplyDeleteWhat are they about ?
Only 2 wars at a time.
Guys, Rick Perry was AL GORE's former campaign manager in Texas and a former Democrat. He's also attended a Bilderberg meeting making a speech on energy policy while playing ignorant about what Bilderberg is all about.
ReplyDeleteHe supported the North American Union even though he lied about it and said he didn't. This man is pure globalist SCUM and a typical lying, conniving, manipulative political piece of DUNG. Burn in hell Perry!
...committed to victory in the conflicts we are engaged in...
ReplyDeleteWell that's a no-brainer. If you want all mouth and no trousers, Obama is your guy.
People need to remember Rick Perry was/is the darling of the CFR. He has attended their meetings and is in bed with all the former neocon globalist bastards. When people like Rick Perry talk secession (something I'm very much in favor of) beware as it can't mean good for what's left of our Republic.
ReplyDeleteSupporter of the ridiculous War on Terror, the amorphous "make it yourself" enemy? Former Democrat? CFR darling? That's more than I needed to hear to make sure I do NOT vote for that man!
ReplyDeleteBeing their natural neocon selves, the worse that Perry, Palin, Bachmann, Romney, et al are, the BETTER they make Ron Paul look!
ReplyDeleteBring it on, Ricky P! You--like your would-be predecessors, both Dumbercrat and Stupid Party (GOP)--can fool ALL of the people SOME of the time, you can fool SOME of the people ALL of the time, but you CAN'T fool ALL of the people ALL of the time!
PEACE AND FREEDOM!!

Perry is Bilderberg and has obviously shown to them he's useful, unlike Edwards and Sanford. Just look what happened to them. They always hedge their bets and make sure they own both sides, just in case enough people go the other way.
ReplyDeleteAs Obama renders himself useless and the sheeple begin to wake up, Perry is in place to be the Next Reagan / Snake Charmer to them back on to the road to serfdom.
Perry also recently met with Musharraf, former President of Pakistan, who claimed in the same Forbes article of having "'excellent relations' with former President George W. Bush." He is also "considering a presidential run himself in 2013". Perry is far more networked than he let's on.
Someone to keep an eye on, to say the least.
Rick Perry also tried to force all 6th grade girls to get the Gardasil vaccine. Many are very ill; the lawsuits are rolling in, and turns out Perry received kickbacks from the vaccine's maker: Merck. With that, and all of the above - oh hell to the no!
ReplyDeleteRon Paul R[̲̅ə̲̅٨̲̅٥̲̅٦̲̅]ution!

Rick Perry is a darling of the Bilderbergers, which isn't exactly a social club for the elites of the world. I believe they set global policy and our President, Senators and military help carry it out, regardless of how it affects the American people. The way I see it, out next President will be another puppet, regardless of who he or she is. The only candidate who will stand up for our nation is Ron Paul, and I base that on his voting record, which is determined by what's Constitutional.
