Top Iowa Staffers Abandon the Cain Campaign

Herman Cain's top two staffers in Iowa have left the campaign over the candidate's alleged refusal to put forth a serious effort in that state. Politico is reporting that Cain's Iowa campaign director Tina Goff has resigned, as well as Straw Poll coordinator Kevin Hall.

On June 27,  when Cain's New Hampshire strategist Matt Murphy resigned, he left the campaign without any staff representation in New Hampshire.

  1. Sounds like Cain's campaign isn't so genuine.

  2. I really don't get that excuse. He has been in Iowa 22 times. Wonder where these staffers will pop up next?
