Trailer: Margin Call

The trailer for Margin Call is out. The film is a supposed thriller that revolves around the key people at a investment bank over a 24-hour period during the early stages of the financial crisis.

The cast includes Kevin Spacey, Jeremy Irons and Demi Moore.

The trailer sounds terrible and, of course, there appears that there is no indication at all of the role the Federal Reserve played in the financial crisis. The film is scheduled to be released in late October.

  1. This can't be any worse than Wall Street 2, right... right?

  2. I think we need the guy who did the Atlas Shrugged movie to do a movie on the financial crisis -- how it actually went down, not this Wall Street and central planning fantasy bullshit.

  3. Reality aside, it does look pretty interested from an entertainment POV and the cast is big time.

  4. It should include a special appearance by Ben Bernanke as himself taking the phone call from Jeremy Irons' character to use the Federal Reserve to buy his worthless commercial paper. Then this movie would be closer to reality.
