Wendi Deng's leaping to the defense of her husband, Rupert Murdoch, doesn't come as a complete surprise to me. I've seen it before.
A very wealthy professional gambler acquaintance of mine was attacked in an attempted mugging on a dark New York City street. He was with his trophy wife, who immediately started attacking the mugger with her umbrella. These gals fight long and hard to get their man and they aren't going to let punks get in the way, even for a minute.
In a cage match, I would even bet on trophy wives over Goldman Sachs women.

She is protecting her meal ticket...Expensive meals. Of course if I was her, I would not hesitate to rip the eyes out of the pie thrower's head.
