Here Comes the Infrastructure Bank and Higher Taxes

In President Obama's remarks today followimg the downgrade of U.S. government debt, he said that
Washington must combine spending cuts with "two additional steps -- tax reform that will ask those who can afford it to pay their fair share and modest adjustments to healthcare programs like Medicare."

Bottom line: Tax hikes are coming.

He also called on Congress to act quickly on other measures, including the banksters favorite the underwriting of infrastructure construction.

Which brings to mind the Rahm Emanuel saying, "Never let a crisis go to waste."

  2. Replace "Obama" with "government" and I agree with your statement.

Quit acting like there is any difference between the repubs and the dems.

  4. x2 to what dg said. It's the statist establishment vs. the people (less the useful idiots). All other paradigms are divisive tools used by said establishment.

  5. "...tax reform that will ask those who can afford it to pay their fair share..."

Statist Translation: Those who we deem to have more property then they need, we are going to take it from them.

The fact that this dope actually believes this is a good message to send to the market place on a horrifically down day shows how out of touch he is with reality. Like all Statist he thinks the threat from the end of a gun is what makes people conform and business work.

  8. "The reason why the economy sucks is that you aren't giving the government enough of your earnings"

Do people actually believe this crap? Are public schools working that well for them?
