France's Nicolas Sarkozy and Germany's Angela Merkel have announced at the conclusion of their meeting a plan for a new euro zone council that will be in effect for a period of two and a half years.
The council will come as part of a new September eurozone package that will include a tax on financial transactions.
Bottom line, this is more kicking the can down the road and offers no permanent solutions for eurozone problems, the council will do nothing but head the reaction to financing crises that develop in the eurozone, nothing more, nothing less.
The crises shall continue.
