Early Breakdown of Obama versus GOP Candidate

According to Larry Sabato:

President Obama has a lock or lead in 19 states w/247 electoral college votes. GOP: 206 votes from 24 states. 270 wins the White House.

Via West Wing Report, the super swing states that will determine the election:

Colorado

Florida

Iowa

Nevada

New Hampshire

Ohio

Virginia

Unemployment rates in key swing states:
 
CO: 8.5%
 
FLA: 10.7%;
 
IA: 6.1%
 
NV: 13.4
 
NH: 5.3%;
 
OH: 9.1%

  1. Obviously it's still very early, but right now, from what I'm reading, Republicans look to take all of those states except Colorado which could still go either way. Some of those states like Ohio, Iowa, and Nevada will go hard Republican IMO.

  2. Could someone calculate the electoral votes of those swing states? So where are Obummer's poll numbers weak? in the key swing states?

  3. But the problem is for the republicans is that their candidates are George Bush clones and Ron Paul who is up against 100 years of Government tradition.
