Ron Paul to Appear on ‘Daily Show’

Rep. Ron Paul is scheduled to appear on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” on Monday, reports Jason Volack at ABC News.

Monday’s appearance will mark the third time Dr. Paul has appeared on ”The Daily Show,” but the first of this primary season. It is also the first time that he will appear since it has become clear that Stewart is a big fan.

  1. I don't know if I'd call Stewart a "big fan" - I couldn't see Stewart voting for him. Seems to me that Stewart just has a lot of respect for Dr. Paul (well-earned/deserved respect of course)

  2. Stewart is, in order of importance, anti-war, pro-welfare, pro-israel.

Dr. Paul brings all of these to the table, but from a free-market persepctive. If Dr. Paul presents the argument to Stewart regarding the superior efficiency of the free market vs. government redistribution, millions of liberal-ish viewers will be exposed to Paul's freedom virus.

    Brushfires of freedom, indeed.

  3. I don't know, the last video I saw of his that mentioned Paul was in a far less flattering light than the one immediately after the Iowa straw poll.

  4. One cannot be "anti-war, pro-welfare, pro-isreal" because the latter two are based on the use of funds obtained by force or threat of violence.

  5. What video was that, Tim?
