Feds Cracking Down on California Medical Marijuana Dispensaries

The Federales are about to crack down on what they consider rogue actions by the state of California.

LaTi reports:
Federal prosecutors in California are threatening to shut down medical marijuana dispensaries throughout the state, sending letters to warn landlords to stop sales of the drug within 45 days or face the possibility that their property will be seized and they will be sent to prison.

The stepped-up enforcement appears to be a major escalation in the Obama administration’s bid to rein in the explosive spread of medical marijuana outlets that was accelerated by the announcement that federal prosecutors would not target people using medical marijuana in states that allow it.

“It’s basically the federal bureaucracy doing what it has done for the last 15 years and just continuing to put its head in the sand and saying no on this,” said Dale Gieringer, the director of California NORML.
As the monster national government grows, there goes states' rights.

  1. Why doesn't some California county sheriff say that he will not enable or allow the feds to conduct search warrants or raids in his county? End of story. The feds always need the county sheriff to do that.

  2. AH, the threat of the most unconstitutional action our government indulges in. The forfeiture of private property on their say so with no legal recourse.

  3. Graham Dugas, county sheriff's have basically been Federalized due to the sharing of confiscated goods and money from the racket known as asset forfeiture. They are All bound at the hip, they are one and the same, a mafia at war with the public. See this for some examples:

  4. I really hope this backfires and leads to even more support for the next Prop 19.

  5. This is the true test of nullification. Until a state government is willing to intervene between the Federal government and the citizens for the citizens, with force if necessary, then nullification is just a word.

In the end, the state is the state, whether Federal or state. This revolution will not be supported by uniforms or badges.
