Reporter at 'Occupation Nashville' Records His Own Arrest

A reporter for the Nashville Scene was arrested along with protesters at Occupation Nashville. He was charged with criminal trespass and public intoxication. In the video below, he identifies himself as part of the media, the police ignore this and it appears he is not intoxicated.

The night court magistrate who presided over the protesters cases refused to sign the arrest warrants and released them, according to Gawker. The protesters had been arrested on the basis of a 10 PM curfew imposed by Gov. Bill Haslam on the park where they had been demonstrating. The magistrate looked at his law books and found "no authority anywhere for anyone to authorize a curfew anywhere" at the Occupy Nashville site.
