The League of Conservation Voters is planning to launch a TV ad on Lexington, Kentucky stations blasting Sen. Rand Paul for trying to block the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency from implementing tougher standards on power plants,
reports AP.
The $150,000 ad buy is scheduled to begin on Friday.
Too bad they aren't wasting more money on nonsense ads.
ReplyDeleteAny add showing Rand as anti-EPA will backfire. The EPA is second only to the IRS in earned American hatred.
ReplyDeleteBring it on.
ReplyDeleteRand should give them money to play the ad more. It's difficult to see how depression-era Kentucky will welcome empowering a job-destroying anti-coal agency.
ReplyDeleteWatermelons, green on the outside, Red on the inside. Once you put the environment above people, there's no amount of tyranny you can't justify. I love nature as much as anybody, it's the use of government force I have a problem with.
ReplyDeleteIf they were sincerely concerned about the environment, they'd be lobbying to end the wars/empire.
ReplyDeleteAnd Rand Paul would support them.
