Rand Paul Responds to Donald Trump Calling His Father a "Wacky Candidate"

On Friday, Rand Paul was interviewed by CNN's Wolf Blitzer. During the interview he slammed many of the positions Newt Gingrich holds. When Blitzer questioned Senator Rand about comments Trump made about his father, Rand handled the situation smoothly and made a very important point about Trump and his positioning himself in the Republican Party. Rand pointed out that Trump supports a lot of Democrats and wondered outloud if Trump should even be considered a Republican.

  5. Aren't the stock market highs another inflation indicator of FED monetary expansion?

  6. anon @ 9:57...pretty much imo, 'soaks up' a lot of potential inflation...let's not forget the 30 year interest rate chart - it's not a coincidence the trendline has been down from early '80's to today...

  7. I would have said any other Republican candidate except for Ron Paul would be at least as bad as Obama rather than leaving hope for a lesser of two evils option.

Ron Paul > Obama = Republican candidates

  8. Ron Paul is the only real conservative running for president in 2012. If you think otherwise, then you haven't been paying attention.

  9. When Wolfie brought up the "third party run", Rand should have said, "Hey, Wolf, if you were fired from CNN, would you try to get a job at MSNBC?" That question is just as relevant!
