More Positive Economic Data; December Output Strongest in Five Years

The Federal Reserve reports that manufacturing production increased 0.7% in January. And output soared 1.5% in December, according to an upward revision. That was the biggest gain since December 2006.

Another positive sign: the average work week for manufacturing employees increased last month.

  1. No thanks to the obstructionst GOP's war on the middle class and workers rights. Doing everything they can to prevent the recovery, cutting taxes for the 1%, and still no jobs bill from these traitors. The GOP should all be locked up in jail for treason for what theyve done to this country!
