Wenzel At the Fed April 25

Many of you have written me concerning the date of my meeting with the New York Federal Reserve.

Senior Vice President, Macroeconomic and Monetary Studies Function, Richard Peach has emailed me to confirm the date, Wednesday, April 25. I will deliver a formal speech before lunch, which will be followed by a an informal discussion over lunch.  I do not anticipate that this will be open to the public.

However, I will publish my prepared remarks here at EPJ on that Wednesday and I will also provide a summary of the luncheon discussion.

  1. Why can't you get videotaped delivering the speech and answering questions? Perhaps you can provide a reading list in advance for the attendees.

  4. Remember what my Grandma use to always tell me:
"You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar."

Deference, respect, grace and humility, etc. If that doesn't work, knee them in the groins.

  5. Bob, bring a volunteer food taster. And, when they offer you a drink from the tray, make sure that you grab the glass furthest away.

    Rock their boat, man!

  6. Create a podcast of the event and upload it to your site so we can all hear the discussion.
