Cain Calls for '9-9-9' Tax Day Rally

As if we aren't tax enough different ways, Herman Cain continues to push his tax plan, which will include a new 9% sales tax.

In a new video, former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain asks supporters to "descend" on Washington, D.C. on April 16 to rally in favor of his "9-9-9" tax reform proposal.

Does Cain think he can gain the Republican nomination in a brokered Republican convention?

  1. "Cain's Revolution on The Hill" ??

Evidently, the term "Revolution" can mean just about anything now.

  2. It sure seems like it. Um, Herman, baby, you're done, which should mean that "9, 9, 9" is done, too.

  4. Herman Cain is a stage-whore with access to one of the creepiest commercial directors in existence. This commercial, like the smoking-man commercial is bizarre with Herman Cain's head moving in odd directions in front of an American flag. It's amazing that people actually wanted this guy to be president.

  5. I keep wondering who's going to show up at this rally.

The Cato Institute? Some of George Soros's undercover operators?

  6. I could tell at CPAC that Cain wasn't quite ready to gracefully fade back into obscurity. If I remember correctly, his plan also makes employee salaries non-deductible for business taxes, which he doesn't advertise.
