Giuliani Endorses Romney

Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani endorsed Mitt Romney this morning on "FOX & Friends.", saying that Romney had "won" the Republican presidential primary "fair and square."

The two men were bitter rivals during the 2008 race and are not believed to be close, says NyPo. However, there was no chance Giuliani would buck the establishment choice.

Absurdly, Giuliani said on the show:
I think he has an understanding of the economy that's far deeper than the President and far deeper than most people. And I think he has the strength and toughness to handle foreign policy.
Yikes, in debate after debate, Romney has come off as a warmonger and I have never seen him discuss or mention even one basic economic principle.

I was in Giuliani's office once, the man is more personable in person than he comes across on television, but I was amazed to find that he collects statues of toy elephants (GOP). His office was filled with them. They were on his desk, on the bookshelves, everywhere.

It brings to mind Ralph Raico's tale of  the warmonger Winston Churchill and his toy soldiers.

That said, I don't think anyone in NYC (or the rest of America) likes Giuliani, outside of his crony buddies, so a Giuliani endorsement  is about as valuable as an endorsement from Charles Manson, maybe a notch lower.

  1. The elephants probably have nothing to do with the GOP.

They are a symbol of good luck for Italians. A lot of old-school Italian's houses are full of elephants.

    1. Yep, that's it. Particularly, it's good luck if they face the door.

  2. Mitt Romney supports the Project for the New American Century and the Foreign Policy Initiative, the think-tank which promotes: diplomatic, economic, and military engagement IN THE WORLD! Iraq was all lies, so is Iran. The media has a war to sell you, are you buying it? Mitt Romney even named his foreign policy plan a new American Century...HOW ORIGINAL! I am voting for Ron Paul! End the wars! Here is a video of Romney and PNAC: Iraq was ALL lies: Romney's new American Century: The media is lying to you! Google: Ron Paul delegates!

  3. Ron Paul v Giuliani in 2008:

  4. Well. Knock me over with a feather!

  5. Q&A with Romney economics adviser Hubbard
Hubbard: White House ‘hasn’t done a single thing’ on jobs
"There are more than 12 million unemployed workers across the U.S., and Americans should be angry, according to Glenn Hubbard, a member of Mitt Romney’s economic policy team."
