ECB Holds Rates

As expected, the European Central Bank has announced it will hold rates at current levels.

The ECB’s benchmark main refinancing rates remains at 1 per cent. The rates on the marginal lending facility and the deposit facility remain unchanged at 1.75 per cent and 0.25 per cent respectively.

The global inflation push remains in gear.
