Protest at U.S. Treasury Secretary Geithner's Home

More than 1,000 protesters from the  National People's Action and National Domestic Workers Alliance went to Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner's home to demand he support, of of all things, a "Robin Hood tax".

"We didn't want to be at Geithner's house," Bobby Tolbert of VOCAL-NY, an affiliate of NPA and a leader at the action said. "But we want a Treasury Secretary that stands with people over bankers."

The Robin Hood tax is a favorite of George Soros, since it would tax financial transactions, including that of short-term traders--who get in the way when Soros attempts to accumulate a position. Such a tax would make markets less liquid and less efficient, all to the benefit of the investment model used by Soros.

  5. Useful idiots is definitely the way to put it. It would be encouraging that these people are organizing to annoy the enemy, but they are almost always brain-dead and calling for policies that will make our problems worse. Why can't they call for legal tender abolishment, so we can stop destructive spending and money creation. I would like freedom and a private plane. Without the federal government I might be able to afford one by now--maybe one that gets 500 miles to the gallon or something. Ahh...one can dream.
