My family knew Bobby when he was a young man growing up in the Bronx. My mother used to tell me stories about how he used to hang out in my grandfather's shoe repair shop in the '50s.

Actually, Darin was a "liberal" Democrat and a huge RFK supporter in 1968. (To his credit, RFK was opposed to the U.S.'s intervention in Vietnam.)
