Does Rapper Ice-T Know More About The 2nd Amendment Than Journalists?

Ben Swann says "yes." He discusses the historical accuracy of rapper/music artist Ice-T’s comments on the real reason for the 2nd Amendment. Ice-T states the 2nd Amendment exists to ensure the people have a means of self defense against tyranny of both foreign and domestic origins. Ben Swann agrees, Ice-T is correct.

  1. Great report from Swann. Reposted from the other Ice T story:

When you see the actual FBI stats on murder, the calls for banning certain types of rifles are even funnier. The highlights from 2010:

    12,996 murders
    6,009 via handgun
    1,704 via knives
    745 with hands & feet
    373 with shotguns
    358 with rifles

This trend goes back every year on the chart, from 2006 to 2010: rifles are roughly around 3% of murders, four times as many people stabbed to death, and twice as many beaten to death. Yet they are what the gun banners harp on? Is it bc they look scary and are easier to fool the public about?

    1. Anon,
The whole point of the "assault weapons" hype is that the PTB understand that in an actual uprising, revolution, rebellion, or what have you; that the people are entirely defenseless without semi-automatic rifles. All other forms of firearms are great when it comes to defending yourself against a foe or maybe even multiple foes, but when it comes to actual warfare they are entirely useless. Granted, civilians don't have access to bombs, but as operations in A-stan have shown, one doesn't need a whole lot to put together a highly effective explosive device. Obviously, in the case of all out civil war, exploding a nuclear device is counterproductive to the aims of the state (what good is having monopoly control over a region if that region is entirely unusable?).

The second amendment had one purpose and one purpose only: for the people to be able to defend themselves from the state if the situation was ever to arise. Statists put all of their faith into the state (like a religion), so they will inevitably see the state as the only entity to not only be able to protect you, me and everybody else; but also to protect itself.

On a side note, I think that I used quite a few words in those two paragraphs that will absolutely get me flagged for suspicious activity. So, in light of that, I just want to tell the snoopy team that I am a peaceful man that will never engage in the initiation of violence.

      Bingo.

    3. Ha! I think that I was correct with my statement about the snoopy team. My email account was entirely unaccessible from roughly an hour after my comment was posted until about 20 minutes ago.

    4. Oh geez! Not only was my email account being looked at, but the first email that I read was from facebook. Here's the content of that email:

"Your Facebook account was recently logged into from a computer, mobile device or other location you've never used before. For your protection, we've temporarily locked your account until you can review this activity and make sure no one is using your account without your permission.

Did you log into Facebook from a new device or an unusual location?

      - If this was not you, please log into Facebook from your computer and follow the instructions provided to help you control your account information.

      - If this was you, there's no need to worry. Simply log into Facebook again to get back into your account."

Boy, do I know how to call it, or what?

  2. So. Is Ben Swann cool or what?
How can they allow him on TV?
Also: Shout out to Ice-T who nails it!

  4. I don't think Ice-T knowns more than journalists.

MSM journalists are 'court' journalists. They serve the interests of the state. They know the 2nd amendment; they just don't care and want gun control. I bet this particular journalist that interviewed Ice simply didn't expect HIM to know that much.

  5. You could tell the 'journalist' was a bit unhappy with his answer.

  6. It took me quite a long time to "get" the 2nd amendment, but it finally clicked. "A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state...". The people who wrote and ratified this understood natural law, and the right and requirement of each person capable of such to defend themselves, their families, their neighbors, from aggression. In the end, it is about the natural right of self-defense.

  7. When I visited Israel two years ago, I came down to the hotel restaurant for dinner one evening to find a young man in jeans and a t-shirt, a rifle slung over his shoulder, waiting to be seated. The staff, all Palestinians, perfunctorily seated him in the restaurant. Nothing to see here. I could well imagine the ruckus such a scene would cause nearly anywhere in the US!

  8. I can't wait for Ice-T to be interviewed by RW. It could expand your demographics.
