Teaser Trailer: Atlas Shrugged 2

This is quite possibly the worst movie trailer I have ever seen.

  1. lmao @ Bob.

You're right, it's a bad trailer. But being honest the first installment wasn't that great either.

It's kind of sad that they can't figure out a way to make a great novel into at least a decent movie.

I hope the 2nd installment is better than the first and that the trailer isn't a precursor of what's to come.

  2. Wow, that is non-compelling. I loved the book and actually didn't mind the first movie. They need to do better than that for a trailer to get folks to see the movie.

  4. Eh, it's just a teaser. Not an especially good one, but not particularly off-putting, either.

I hope the movie is good.

  5. It's a TEASER trailer. The early ones are typically short and often may not even contain movie footage (as is the case here). Their point is to get you excited about the movie way ahead of time.

I'm not a Rand fan, but this teaser is actually pretty good.

  6. I have to agree that it isn't that bad. Teaser trailers tend to have these non-footage type deals.
Although they are usually made for movies that are expected to be blockbusters, which makes it kind of hilarious that they use one of these on Atlas Shrugged 2.

  8. I don't think it was bad, there wasn't enough there to have an opinion. The first movie was too happy and it didn't convey the strangling grip of government. Much like in Hunger Games where none of the characters were hungry. I'll still see it but I won't be buying the REASON DVD combo hahaha.

  10. I actually think its a decent little teaser trailer. It brings up a valid point in the wording, and it shows things rusting and degrading.

  11. "worst ever"? It's not terrible but it's only going to resonate with existing audiences. Although the Part 1 wasn't the big budget splash we wanted, they did a hell of a job with the production budget they had. If they could run Part 1 for free on Hulu, they might just increase their audience if Part 2 at least delivers equal to part 1.
