Cato to Host Conference on "Europe's Crisis and the Welfare State: Lessons for the United States"

The closing address at the conference will be delivered by Richard Fisher, President, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

Only a beltarian would not see the absurdity of this.

What next a conference on minimum wage laws, with a union leader delivering a closing address?

    The U.S. IS already a Euro Welfare state, and cascading to more, more, more by the day. As for Richard Fisher, he is a 'supposed' Fed Hawk, if there can be such.
