Widespread Eurozone Weakness

The European Central Bank has maintained a fairly tight monetary policy, which is resulting in sluggish economic activity throughout the eurozone, as malinvestments created from previous ECB money printing continue to be liquidated. On top of this liquidation, many regulations exist within the EZ that make it difficult for businesses to adjust to the new environment.
