Disturbing: Top Ten Cities for Meetings

Cvent Supplier Network has put out this list of the top 10 cities for meeting destinations.

What's disturbing about the list is that Washington D.C. is ranked second. This indicates that more and more businesses think it is important to be near central government when they hold their meetings. Not good, the Mussolini government-private partnership economy advances.

1. Orlando, Fla.

2. Washington, DC

3. Las Vegas, Nev.

4. Miami, Fla.

5. Chicago, Ill.

6. San Diego, Calif.

7. Phoenix, Ariz.

8. Atlanta, Ga;

9. Dallas, Texas

10. New Orleans, LA.

  1. I wonder how San Diego's rankings would change if meeting planners were advised of the 12.5% Transient Occupancy Tax paid by hotel guests.
