Christopher Collins was listening in so that the rest of us didn't have to:
Beck's comments came toward the end of the show when Beck stated his views about the Ron Paul supporters and said, “Ron Paul people, I have had it up to here.”Well, it's good to know that the near deaf Beck has detected a difference between the comments of the two warmonger, bankster tools, Obama and Romney
“Romney called the Fed and begged them not to do this. Romney is not an “abolish” the Fed guy but at least he’s a “Let’s not burn the country down guy”,” Glenn said.
Glenn went on to say, “You guys are so delusional you’re going to lead to the Arab Spring. What is wrong with you people? Ron Paul is not running. He’s not running.”
“Please by all that is holy, don’t split that vote,” [co-host, Pat] Gray said in reference to libertarians who want to vote for Gary Johnson.
“If you think he can win God bless you then vote for him. If you’re trying to make some point you’re out of your mind,” Glenn added.
What a douche. That guy used to preach from on high on his show that the lesser of two evils is still evil and now he's on the Romney train. Typical.
ReplyDeleteBeck is either a self-promoter or schizoid as he can't seem to make up his mind, or some combination of the two.
DeleteBeck is worried . . .
ReplyDeleteI'll bet that Romney won't fire Bernanke if he gets elected. He is just concerned about how the economy appears during the election.
ReplyDeleteHow are we going to lead to the "Arab Spring" when we seem to be the only people Republican or Democrat to oppose the policies that have lead to the problems in the middle east? Are we the ones that wanted to overthrow Qaddafi or help overthrow the other governments in the middle east? Or was it war mongers like both Mitt Romney and Obama that supported such actions? If you think Mitt is going to bring us peace, you are delusional.
I listened to a few minutes of him the other day and he actually seriously compared George Washington to Romney! Remember, this is the guy who trashed all of Ron Paul's warnings about the Fed, the Housing Market Crashing, the govt being out of control, etc in 07/08, but then apologized and admitted he was wrong after the election was safely over.
ReplyDeleteHe claims to be against the bailouts and virtually all of Romney's positions, yet has embraced him openly. Beck is an establishment hack who pretends to be an outsider, sort of like a talk radio Sarah Palin.
The great irony is how the last four or five years Beck has hawked gold on his show and done his best to scare the hell out of people to sell it for his sponsors, yet he laughed and ridiculed Ron Paul for saying the same things -- and when gold was much cheaper and a better investment!
So when is the "Mormon's Gone Wild" video coming out? I'm eager to see some hot Mormons in magic underwear.
ReplyDeleteI hear Romney got his wife to horse whip Glenn Beck while screaming "Giddy up" and made a cameo appearance himself.
With Joe Francis producing and backing by Goldman Sachs it's hard to see this thing not taking off.
That's it.
ReplyDeleteAfter hearing that, I am calling in my GoldLine investments and canceling my Food Insurance.
Watch the clip below but replace Gingrich with Romney.
ReplyDeletehttp://youtu.be/TGgxDQw6Ov4
I don't really see a problem with a lot of his words, except the Arab spring part - that's pretty nutty. Voting for Gary Johnson this time around is a strategic waste of a vote. I'll go Libertarian in 2016, but I refuse to throw my vote away over principle and essentially vote "present" in light of the current climate.
ReplyDeleteThrow away your vote. Lol. That's rich.
DeleteSadly, that is how most American's have been taught how the process is suppose to work. To hell with principals and all that crap, its all about winning. Who cares if your guy might start WW3, at least your side won. The nit wit Progressives and Neocons that own the political process deserve full credit for the systemic failure that is taking place. They both live in noddy land and have lost all grasp of reality.
ReplyDeleteBeck has never been with us.
ReplyDeleteIf Romney wins and when he turns out to be Obama-lite, Beck will lament not supporting Paul. He will do it openly and with those famous Beck Tears.
DeleteIf Obama wins, Beck will castigate Paul for not endorsing Romney, as if that would ahve convinced a single Paul supporter to follow suit.
This idiot is "schizophrenic." He gives the appearance that he doesn't know what the hell he believes in. Libertarians know better: he is an apologist for "his" brand of the state. Just another talking head who is paid not to think, but to say what other people tell him to; all while feigning modesty by his babble about being a former alcoholic, etc.
ReplyDeleteI'm baffled that most people still watch television other than to ridicule and laugh at it. It's mostly pure garbage. Rod Serling attempted to make it a serious intellectual and educational art form. That was a while ago.
Beck calls himself a libertarian. Yet he has a laundry list of tax-funded programs he supports.
DeleteIt is incompatable with libertarianism to support any program that requires the use of force to fund, Beck.
Remember a few years ago when Beck was calling Ron Paul supporters terrorist? Then flipped his position.
ReplyDeleteI guess we can take this as a sign that Ron Paul is finally having an impact on the Republican Party. Maybe they should have given Ron Paul a fair shake at the convention and recognized that the Party needs all those votes?
ReplyDeleteOh well, too late for that now, and it doesn't matter anyway. Romeny, Obama, same difference.
Yes. If they really wanted to win, they could have ridden the wave of popularity generated by Ron Paul. They could have had a giant influx of new, young, energetic Republicans to march on into the future.
DeleteBut no, they made their deal in 2008; Romney supports McCain, gets nominated in 2012, Paul be damned.
So now, the GOP can't count on the 2+ million Paul supporters... Too bad.
Glenn Beck thinks he's discovered "truth", yet he's too much of a half-wit to recognize the severe logical inconsistencies in many of his "positions". He talks in very limited fashion about downsizing the American Empire, and yet constantly hawks on Iran and begs, "who will stand for Israel?" I am neither for nor against Israel, or Iran for that matter. Those countries are literally half a world away from me, and while I realize that global events can and do impact our lives, they will most likely impact our lives by the U.S. government involving us in them. I respect Mr. Beck's concern for Israel. I wish he would keep his advocacy personal, rather than pushing a government that unfortunately "represents" me (and steals from me) to support it. Mr. Beck should take his own advice and keep charity (foreign aid) private. Also, he has convinced himself that Mitt Romney is marginally better than Barack Obama, while that may be true to some extent, it seems delusional to think that the outcome of a Romney administration will be tangibly better than an Obama administration - it really doesn't matter how you end up in Hell; it just matters that you're there.
ReplyDelete“Please by all that is holy, don’t split that vote.”.....
ReplyDeleteHa! Maybe you people should have thought of that when you were actively cheating Ron Paul and disenfranchising his supporters. I freely admit to being a vindictive sumbitch so grovel, you despicable worms. Your begging only strengthens my resolve.
There are no substantive differences between the "two" candidates on important issues, every lover of freedom knows this. Anybody who would make such a plea has automatically identified themselves as a statist parasite.
Gogo Yubari:
Delete"You call that begging? You can beg better than that!"
He is right about one thing-it will split the vote.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, Romney doesn't look like he is going win, so I would not worry about "vote splitting" or anything else along these lines.
ReplyDeleteSecond, Gary Johnson may not be the perfect stand-in for Ron Paul, but Beck saying not to vote for him itself is a pretty good reason to vote for him. GJ's platform calls an immediate cut in the deficit bigger than Ron Paul was proposing and an immediate 43% cut in military spending (to 2003 levels). GJ strongly supports smaller government, a noninterventionist foreign policy, civil liberties, and sound money.
Beck hates the fact that Ron Paul is actually more powerful and has ore of a following than he does these days. Ron's influence and numbers of supporters are growing, while Glenn's ratings in radio have gone way down and his fox tv show was canceled due to poor ratings a couple years ago.
ReplyDeleteMedia types are asking to speak to Ron paul to drive up their ratings and hear what he has to say next -- not Glenn Beck!
Here is the infamous "I apologize to Ron Paul" video in 2009 where he attempted to repent for the trashing he gave to paul and his supporters on issues he later flip flopped on after McCain safely head the nomination.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXUBDT75jyI
When you view Beck through the lens of being a slightly more talented shill for the GOP than the average GOP mouthpiece then all of his flip flopping on Paul makes far more sense.
ReplyDeleteHe waffles to and fro in a lame attempt to try coax a few supporters over to the GOP despite his claims of being "libertarian".
The cognitive dissonance between being libertarian and voting for Romney is too much for even the pathological to swallow.
Time for Ron Paul Fans to Support the Constitution
ReplyDeletehttp://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/09/18/Time-for-Ron-Paul-Fans-to-Support-the-Constitution
*sigh*
Watch how Glenn distances himself from Romney, his positions, et al. The only hope he is placing in Romney is "maybe" he'll listen to God more than Obama will. I don't know nearly enough about Mormons, but the God of the Bible is big enough to use ANYONE, whether they'll listen to Him or not.
