NATO Airstrike Kills Women and Girls in Afghanistan

This is the kind of stuff that makes Afghans enemies of the U.S.

A NATO airstrike killed eight Afghan women and girls gathering firewood in a remote part of the country, reports NyPo.

The headline to the story, though, is, 3rd Afghan inside attack kills 4 US troops.

I guess an airstrike killing of Afghan women and girls gathering firewood doesn't warrant its own story at NyPo, even though it might help explain the types of events that are resulting in the featured story about dead U.S. troops.

  1. I suppose it has to due with the fact that Americans generally don't like to hear about the bad stuff we do overseas, but still the example above is so typical of the media filtering that goes on about horrific acts of violence committed by our guys.

  2. But...
"They hate us `cuz we're freeeeee...!"

    Yeah. Right.

  3. Come now, Robert, this is just collateral damage. It's all perfectly acceptable to the sociopaths that watch over our great nation run by sociopaths.
