  1. You don't have a right to aggress against others property Lady, no matter what it says.

  3. Technically the Egyptian lady was violating property rights, so she was in the wrong.

But the red-haired lady wasn't actually trying to defend property rights, she was just trying to defend the message on the poster, which really makes her the bigger a-hole, if you ask me =)

  4. Destruction of property and assault? Is that what passes for non-violence in Egypt?

  5. What an offensive poster. I can't believe that was a real thing.

  6. I can imagine what would happened to her and her spray can in Cairo or Lahore. Worse, her hair isn't covered and she's not wearing Islamic clothing. Get out the stones, boys!

  7. OK, so this ad is supposedly not offensive, but how about an ad that says "Kill all blacks. Support Whites" -- would that be offensive? Is there a line that is drawn, on unfortunately public property (ancap, here, personally), on what can be displayed?

"Support a foreign government" I think is offensive, something that should not happen in the public. This is not private property. Regardless whether or not "public" property *should* exist, it does here (property of NYC), then sold as ad space: pure fascism at work.

Yes, the woman in the video should have gone about it more diplomatically (petitioning the city), and two wrongs certainly don't make a right, but if you watch this video and all you see is a uncivilized, violent woman spray painting private property, you are not looking but not seeing.
