How active is Tom Woods in the Libertarian party? It would have been nice to see him (and others like him) at the 2012 national convention, but so far as I know he wasn't there.
If Woods were to run for the LP nomination in 2016 he would have a good chance of winning. Especially if more people expressing a desire for a more libertarian Libertarian party would take action to make it so, instead of just standing outside and being critical. Taking over the Libertarian party would be a piece of cake compared to taking over the Republican or Democratic parties.
I want to save Woods from politics forever!! He's too awesome and such a great asset to be tangled up in Mordor. With regard to political parties/elections- I've been convinced that withdrawing my consent is the proper route, something to think about:
Couldn't agree more. He really has his stuff together. I would love to see him debate more warmongering demoblicans and republicrats on foreign policy. If only he could have gone toe-to-toe with Hitchens on the Iraq war instead of George Galloway or Peter Hitchens.

Man, I love me some Scott Horton! He is one of my favorite people in the liberty movement.
