If Jonah Goldberg Only Understood Ludwig von Mises

and his explanation of his brother's (Richard von Mises) theory of the difference between case and class probability, he could have taken Nate Silver down in a tweet, instead of a column that never seems to get to the observation that there is, a big difference between case and class probability.

A tweet like this:
@NateSilver you are an idiot 4 attributing class probability percentage outcomes to a case event, the presidential election. U don't understand the underpinnings of probability.

  1. Nah, he expressed a (subjective) probability based on his state of knowledge. See my comment at http://www.economicpolicyjournal.com/2012/11/henry-blodget-and-nate-silver-dont.html .

  3. If only he understood ANYTHING! The man is a shrill shill, like his mom.
