Judas Christie on Running for President

Another one, who smells the big power.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says he “wasn’t ready” to run for president in 2012, but vows to be prepared if he considers a bid in the future, reports The Hill.

“I wasn't ready to run for President this time,” said the governor on “Conversations at NJPAC” on Tuesday.

Christie did not acknowledge if he was weighing a run in 2016, but said “if it comes, I know that I will be more ready for it than I would have been this year.”

    1. No kidding. He'll be dead from a coronary by 2016 if he doesn't tame his ravenous maw.

  2. As the gentleman scholar Adam Carolla recently described it, similar to Antonio Villaraigosa finding his constituency in the Latino community, Christie will be able to find his in the obese community. Carolla was certainly more colorful and hilarious in his description, but you get the idea.

  3. "Christie did not acknowledge if he was weighing a run in 2016", "but he did say that any use of the word "weighing" starts the discussion off on the wrong foot."

  4. Mark my words, it's going to come down to Rand Paul vs Chris Christie as the two that will be the "heavyweights" slinging mud at each other in the 2016 primary debates (ala Romney vs Gingrich and Romney vs Santorum this time around).
