Don't miss the next Robert Wenzel Show, my guest is former Ron Paul campaign adviser Doug Wead. He reveals why it made strategic sense for Rand to go to Israel, four years before the next presidential election.
During the interview I ask him:
How much he thought Rand would have to compromise in order to get enough votes to get elected President.
Why we are starting to see support for Rand from Jennifer Rubin and Bill Kristol.
How much of the multi-level marketing money of the firm he is involved with goes to the network versus paying for the product,
Why he didn't say anything negative about FDR or Lincoln when he was on FOX discussing them.
I ask him about his secret taping of George W. Bush.
I ask him if he secretly taped Ron Paul, also.
And a lot more, as I interview the polished communicator---he has an answer for everything.
The show is in post-production and will be up Sunday morning at 7:00 AM ET, right here at EPJ.
Oh shit.
ReplyDeleteLol dude. You litterally made me laugh. Yea this ought to be intersting. Wead is such a bullshitter I wonder if wenzel will even be able to get him steamed.
DeleteCirca 2018...
ReplyDeletePresident Rand Paul's famous quote "We are are Neo-Cons now".
oh man i already feel bad for Doug (not really, nail him pls)
ReplyDelete=D
Wow! Greatly looking forward to this one. I've always liked Doug throughout Ron Paul's campaign, though the milk shake hawking has turned me off a bit!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear him get the Wenzel treatment!
Why are you hung up on Doug Weed? How does he matter in the world of finance, or economics?
ReplyDeleteIf this is personal, you should leave it off your blog. Before this, I had never heard of him. You seem to keep trying to make a point! What point????? You don't like him, who new?
Here's a solution. If you don't want to listen to the interview, then don't.
DeleteExactly cotterdan321! I am looking forward to this interview more then any so far!
DeleteI'm curious just how libertarian all these Ron Paul campaign people truly are.
The first question I ask Wead is whether he is a libertarian.
DeleteReally love your show!
ReplyDeleteNice. Hopefully you read Russ Baker's book "Family Of Secrets" and asked Mr. Wead about convincing Dubya to go the "born again" route to win over voters.
ReplyDeleteAnxiously awaiting this video. I remember seeing the interview about Lincoln and being very confused by commentary.
ReplyDeletelol.....I can't wait.
ReplyDeleteThe teaser questions on this post are just too much!
I can't believe Rossini was able to get him to come on your show. He certainly deserves what comes his way in the interview.
Dammit Robert, now I'll be having popcorn on Sunday at 7 AM.
ReplyDeleteDon't get too excited. I ask the questions, but Doug doesn't get rattled. He has an answer for everyone of then and gives the answers in his upbeat manner.
ReplyDeleteSome of the answers may raise eyebrows, but for the most part it is just Doug on the record for with answers to these questions. He really is a skilled communicator.
I'm glad he doesn't get rattled. Rattled guests get defensive and shut down. REALLY looking forward to this one! Good job Chris and Bob!
ReplyDeleteKudos to Wead for appearing. At a minimum, that takes balls, and it sounds like he actually handled the interview well. Rand Paul and also Amash should follow Wead's lead. They would both face some tough questions, but they should have a case to make here as well that are advancing the libertarian cause--right?
ReplyDeleteThings we can learn from Doug as we spread the word on real economics and the NAP (Murry also taught me this): Don't get rattled, frustrated or angry. Know your opponents talking points and have an answer for each. Be confident. Don't let failure stop you. Doug isn't going stop selling just because Robert wasn't buying.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the interview. Doug Wead is always stimulating.
ReplyDeleteThe good bullshitters can sit through just about any interview and give answers. I am sure Bill Clinton, George W Bush, Obama, Romney, etc. could all probably pass a lie detector test saying they were born on Mars. Wead saw an opportunity to latch on and make some money with the Ron Paul movement and took it, just as Jesse Benton and many others did.
ReplyDeleteI think deep down Ron knew a bunch of leeches would do that, but he cared more about getting the message out than winning any races bc he knew they would simply rig the votes against him anyway, which they ended up doing in many states.
