Mexico Asks US to Provide Gun Registration Info for All Border States

Mexican official plan to ask the U.S. Senate to create a registry of all commercialized firearms in border states, which includes California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. Mexico says it will make it easier to trace guns used in violent attacks.

The measure was reportedly approved on January 9 by Mexico’s Permanent Commission, a government entity that meets when Mexico’s Senate and the Chamber of Deputies is in recess.

Note in the below clip how Arizona residents react upon hearing this news, with objections. And, of course, their objections are sound. It is very dangerous for the Mexican government to have a list of US border state gun owners. I would advance the argument and suggest that such a list is dangerous for federal, state and local governments here in the US to have also. Gun registration is one step away from gun confiscation. If the US ever ends up with a tyrant running the government, the last thing you want is him having a list of where every gun is in America.

  2. In NYC all firearms were registered back in the 60s, and the idea was laughed at that it could ever lead to confiscation. Then a few decades later they were all confiscated. In Nazi Germany, the existing laws mandated registration and permits, so once the Nazis took power they simply refused to renew any permits and then confiscated firearms from everyone since they knew who all the gun owners were.

  3. Lol bull, actually Hitler loosened gun regulations (on ordinary German citizens, not Jews). I don't expect you to learn from my insignificant comment, but seriously look it up. or keep an eye on the horizon for the black helicopters my friend...
