Rand Paul Gets the Most Support When He Stands Against Expansion of the State

The Rand Paul filibuster is picking up momentum. He didn't get this kind of support when he visited the 51st state, or flip-flopped on Chuck Hagel. Only when he battles the state.

  1. I want to be happy, and I am that he's flipping the tables over in their house. But why am I not? Why am I just thinking about that future day when he plunges his knife right into my back and twists it with a Judas' kiss?

  2. I have been watching this filibuster for 4 hours. I am thoroughly amazed we have a Senator fighting for Liberty and not giving up! Putting Holder to actually make a yes or no answer is what we elected Senators to do.

I love how Reid just came to the floor and complained 'How long is this going to go? Are we going to have a vote?' And then he just says 'tell everyone to go home, it's not going to happen!"

  3. Still a little premature to anoint Rand the savior of American liberty. What standard is Rand setting forth today for killing American citizens without due process? Here's the answer: "Internet talk and chatter."

"I think some of the drone strikes have probably been justified. Awlaki, I think, was a traitor. This is not from looking at classified documents, this is just from reading the lay press. By all means, he gave up on his country, renounced his citizenship, went overseas, consorted and aided the enemy... Awlaki was a sympathizer, someone who aided and abetted by internet talk and chatter – that was the main thing he was accused of, actually, after the fact they said he had more direct association – I don’t know if that’s true or not, and haven’t seen the secret information on that."
