reports:
Chelsea Clinton, who works a special correspondent for NBC News, gave an interview to to NBC that aired Monday in which she talked about her mother’s possible plans for a presidential run, and her own potential political ambitions. This was on the heels of an interview with Parade Magazine discussing the same issues.[...]
On whether she would run for office herself:
To Parade: “I don’t know. Before my mom’s campaign in 2008, I would have said no, not because of any kind of thoughtful, deliberate questioning, but simply because people have been asking me that for as long as I can remember. I’m grateful to live in a city, in a state, in a country where I strongly believe in the confidence and ethos of my direct elected representatives. If there were a time where that wasn’t true and I thought that I could make a disproportionately positive impact, I’d have to ask and answer that question.”
To NBC: “Right now I’m grateful to live in a city and state in a country where I strongly support my mayor, my governor, president and senators and my representatives. If at some point that weren’t true and I thought I could make a meaningful and measurably greater impact I’d have to ask and answer that question.”
Another Clinton, another liar.
