Michelle Bachmann Won’t Seek Re-election Next Year

“I have decided next year I will not seek a fifth Congressional term,” she said in a video on her campaign Web site. “This decision was not impacted in any way by the recent inquiries into the activities of my former presidential campaign or my former presidential staff,” she added.

She caught the notice of Austrian economists when WSJ quoted her in January 2011:

 "And [Ludwig] von Mises. I love von Mises," getting excited and rattling off some of his classics like "Human Action" and "Bureaucracy." "When I go on vacation and I lay on the beach, I bring von Mises."

Mises writing style is not one that would be considered light beach reading, never before had the writing of Mises been grouped  with say, H.T. Night's Vampire Love Story (#1).
