Time's Grunwald to Help Write Geithner's Book

Former Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has tapped Michael Grunwald, the senior national correspondent for Time Magazine, to help him write his forthcoming book about the financial crisis, reports Politico.

"In writing his book, former Secretary Geithner will collaborate with Michael Grunwald, a senior national correspondent for Time magazine," Jenni LeCompte, a spokesperson for the former Treasury Secretary, told POLITICO.

Grunwald, who declined to comment, will help Geithner write the book but will not be named as a co-author. A former Washington Post reporter, he has written two books under his own name: "The Swamp: The Everglades, Florida, and the Politics of Paradise" (2006) and "The New New Deal: The Hidden Story of Change in the Obama Era" (2012).

    1. Note to self: Never post a comment while laughing historically at former secretaries of the treasury...
