AEI Fellow: "Big Brother isn’t watching you"

American Enterprise Institute fellow Marc Thiessen writes in WaPo:
[I]nstead of being outraged by the damage done by these leaks, critics on the left and right are criticizing the NSA for undertaking activities that are lawful, constitutional and absolutely vital to protecting the country.
Calm down, folks. Big Brother is not watching you.
Amazing.

American Enterprise Institute has received $300,000 from Koch foundations 2005-2011.

Koch foundation contributions to the Mises Institute $0.00.

Are the Koch brothers ever going to get serious about liberty?

  2. Please note that there are two people from AEI among the Bilderberg attendees this year:

Nicholas N. Eberstadt, Henry Wendt Chair in Political Economy, American Enterprise Institute

Richard N. Perle, Resident Fellow, American Enterprise Institute

    Interesting...

  4. Lawful = by however they define the law to be under their dictates and what actions that do fit under that law. Just as Feinstein declared Snowden guilty of treason and not his actions being under a passed law of whistle blowing, they get to define it, and they get to declare who's guilty of violating a government dictated law and who doesn't have a right under a government "granted" right before a trial.

This is a prime example of why anarchos are correct about not needing government to protect you. They grant the laws and rights, but if people accept them, they will have to live by the government's interpretation of them. More often than not it goes against people who violated the wants of the people who benefit from these laws. This is why people need to understand Higher Law, but often times, this takes belief in a power that is higher than they.

Our rights are given to us not by government, but by nature and from the beginning at Creation. We don't need rights handed down by the government as if they're giving us something great and wonderful. Really, it's just manipulation.

Constitutional = yeah, I have no idea what he's talking about. It's the same mentality as being "lawful". They believe that that constitutional law came from the government and not really a contract with Higher Law, to not violate such laws that permit the People to expand the economy by means of true wealth (children) and religion (subdue the Earth), but a dictate from the government. (Though even the Framers had issues with this ie. Article of Confederation.)

Security = see any correct history book about war and military and you'll see the excuse of national security. May not be in those exact words but along those lines. See Wilhelm Ropke's "The German Question". See Ilan Pappe's "The Ethnic Cleansing of Palistine". They use fear to control.

"Calm down, folks. Big Brother is not watching you." = Desperation. It's been fun seeing these guys squirm. Been laughing for hours watching them.

Marc's gonna need a much bigger shovel if he hopes to move that load of horse shit...

This is their idea of damage control, it's like lighting Tiki torches in the dining room of the Hindenburg. Are these clowns oblivious to the fact that they are throwing gas on the fire?
