Pickens: There Are Jobs, but Some in US Don’t Want to Work

Boone Pickens is still hustling his natural gas and I am sure he wouldn't mind government intervention that would force more to use natural gas, but he is an interesting character. In this video, you don't want to miss his comment about George W. Bush and he is real honest about his clean air goals.

  1. I wonder if the expectation of low return on one's time and effort invested in their fight against inflation isn't part of the reason why people don't work. http://www.businessinsider.com/real-wages-decline-literally-no-one-notices-2013-6. A friend of a friend was on unemployment insurance. She was pulling in $800 every two weeks. Money wasn't good but it certainly wasn't bad. Just enough to giver her the incentive to not work. And that's a hell of an ethic to get used to. And then there's this: http://www.jamesaltucher.com/2013/05/why-do-anything/. Then I think that people actually are working in what was observed several weeks ago in that 2 trillion dollar underground economy.
