BREAKING: Charges of Armed Sedition are Being Considered Against Adam Kokesh

It appears that Kokesh is being given some type of Bradley Manning treatment and may be charged with sedition.

From FreeAdamKokesh:
Adam was forcibly arraigned very early this morning. He is being held without bail pending a probable cause hearing. Early this morning, he was dragged barefoot in shorts out of the cage they put him in and carted to the arraignment in a wheelchair. He did not participate in the arraignment because he has been denied access to a lawyer.
Adam was able to make a call to his father. His father thinks that Adam may not be allowed to make another call anytime soon.
Adam wants a lawyer. He has requested access to a lawyer constantly since being caged. He refuses to go to court without a lawyer. Adam’s manager, Lucas Jewell, is working on getting him trusted counsel ASAP.
Adam is being held in solitary confinement in a 6.5′ x 7.5′ cage without bedding. He was kidnapped while wearing shorts and has not been given proper clothing to protect him from the frigid temperatures that have become standard operating procedure in America’s prisons.
Adam reports via his father that the cage he has been locked into is infested with ants. Furthermore, the lights are kept on by the guards 24 hours per day without any break for rest.
A public defender is expected to be appointed at 3PM Eastern today. 3:20PM EDT Update: I spoke with the public defender’s office and they still have not received the paperwork from the court that is required before appointing a public defender. One will not be appointed today (11 Jul 2013).
Adam’s phone call to his father was monitored by a sheriff’s deputy standing right next to him as he spoke with his father.
During the attack on his home Tuesday evening, the flashbang (stun grenade) deployed by militarized US Park Police exploded right in front of Adam. He reports that he has yet to receive any medical care inside the prison.
During the attack, Adam reports that the Park Police covered his chest with laser-sight red dots even when he had his hands up.
A sheriff’s deputy informed Adam that charges of illegal transportation of a firearm, sedition and armed sedition are being considered against him, presumably by federal prosecutors. (Oxford defines sedition as “conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a state or monarch.”
Eyewitnesses to the attack on Adam and his companions Tuesday night report that US Park Police brought large brown paper evidence bags in with them before their search that appeared to be full. There is a concern that they planted evidence

  1. Que david goes to the dentist.

    Is this real life?

Is this going to last for ever?

  2. Disgusting thats all I have to say

  3. And you wonder why people are losing their faith in government.

    1. People should have faith in themselves, their families, their communities. They should have faith in the voluntary acts from others.

Faith in government is the triumph of hope over experience. You're bound to be bitterly disappointed.

  4. he might be guilty of illegal transportation of a firearm, don't about that but all he needs to do for the sedition charge is portraits of the founding fathers.

  5. Absolutely ridiculous.

  6. They ratchet up the outrages. The people yawn. They ratchet up the outrages. The people yawn... and so it goes...

  7. ...I feel helpless. I hate sitting back and merely reading about this. Injustice to the extreme.

  8. While I know we live in a fascist, thinly-veiled police state in the US, does anyone else feel like we're moving very quickly to open tyranny? It seems like the state is getting increasingly bold about showing its true, dark and vicious nature.

  9. I'm a nobody. I have no academic letters after my name. My most significant claim to accomplishment is 14 grandchildren and a marginally successful business career. Nonetheless, I've been studying the "perplexities of the nations" of the world, including our own, for several decades and I am dismayed beyond words at the blatantly arrogant, hypocritical, tyrannical, and certainly repeated unconstitutional behavior of those who rule over us.

There is certainly no doubt with this action, if there ever was, that we are ruled over by heartless monsters whose craving for power and acquiescence has grown beyond all limits. We the people are, in truth, we the slaves and most of the frogs never noticed the water temperature.

I have been certain for a number of years that we were getting very close to a very dangerous precipice. We are no longer close. We are hurtling over it and I am quite sure the sick feeling in my stomach is that which occurs in free-fall.

Heaven help us. There is no one else who can.

    1. Well said, Sir!

You don't need, and frankly are better off without any letters after your name. Look at the detritus that our "institutions of higher learning" have saddled us with. You have something that Harvard, Yale and Princeton can't teach - it's called common sense.

      I salute you!

    2. Much as I appreciate being saluted for simply speaking my mind, I am not the one to whom salutations ought to be directed.

The result of poking at the monster, as Adam does, is to incur the monster's wrath. How much wrath can only be discovered by the poking. I don't doubt that Adam knows that. The consequences he now suffers is payment for his desire to publicly display the monster's true colors.

I am grateful beyond words for his willingness to sacrifice himself to awaken those who have eyes to see. If only more would.

I salute Adam. We all should.

  10. Now I know how normal Germans felt during the 1930's
