Chess Champ at Mises U.

Tom Woods writes:

This year at Mises U., the week-long instructional seminar in Austrian economics that has diverted me from blogging this week, we have Pobo Efekoro, a 17-year-old high school student from Brooklyn whose super-successful chess team got him featured on the Daily Show, and is the subject of the documentaryBrooklyn Castle, coming this fall on PBS and available now on Amazon.
He’s already beaten me three times, but he is a blast to play against and very gentlemanly. And actually, I haven’t really played so badly.
Here’s a YouTube video I found of him in which his opponent (the one without glasses) asks, “Can you win this game in 21 seconds?” and Pobo says with a laugh, “I think I can.”
