Now, Neocon Jonah Goldberg Weighs In on Rand Paul/Jack Hunter

In the context of discussing Rand's aide, Jack Hunter, Goldberg manages to come out with this absurdity:
Rand Paul shares his father's ambition to be president. Even though he's a vastly better politician — morally and strategically — than his father[...]
Say what? Ron Paul had little desire to become president and had tremendous desire to spread the liberty message. For Rand, it is just the opposite. He wants to be president. He is so desperate to be president that he is likely to push Hunter off the campaign staff, as the neocons continue to make clear that this must be done. Goldberg concludes his commentary with exactly that message, while taking a sideswipe at Judge Napolitano:
Rand's task of clearing the air strikes me as Augean.
Hence another irony. Defenders like Napolitano think Paul's critics subscribe to a "dying ideology," but Paul's only shot at the White House hinges on thoroughly repudiating an ideology far more deserving of death. He's got a lot more work ahead of him.

  1. Listening to neocon clown boy Goldberg always gives me a chuckle

  2. I don't know whether to:

    1. express outrage at the lack of defense for Paul, the Senior and/or The Judge, Napolitano

    2. resign myself to goldberg's claim that those who espouse those ideas are a dying breed...
