SOLVED: The Female Brain

The entire video below is pretty fascinating, but it is one hour and twenty-nine minutes long. If you really want to understand the difference between the male and female brain, go to the 41 minute 30 second mark, this part of the presentation is only 3 minutes and 20 seconds long.

The speaker is Martin L. Rossman, MD and he is speaking at the University of San Francisco Medical School

  1. Started it at the 41 minute mark and had to watch to the end. Thanks for the guided imagery. That was my favorite part of massage training.

Focus on what you want, not what you don't want. For example, 2 kids climb a tall tree when the wind suddenly kicks up. One parent yells, "Don't fall out of the tree!" The other parent yells, "Hold on tight!" See the difference?

  2. "The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is launching a study to see whether Streptococcus bacteria, which cause strep throat, scarlet fever, and other infections such as pneumonia, may also be responsible for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in children."

  3. Men are predominately left brain (objective/logical) thinkers. Women are predominately left brain (subjective/intuitive) thinkers. And, anyone can train themselves to become proficient at either. I don't need a so called expert putting his/her spin on those facts.
