New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie saw a surge in support, according to a poll released Tuesday, reports Politico.
According to a Granite State Poll, sponsored by WMUR-TV, and conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center, Christie went from the choice of 11 percent in April of likely Republican primary voters, to 21 percent in July. Rand Paul was the choice in July of 16 percent of voters, compared with 15 percent in April.
If Rand changes a tactic, there's probably a poll telling him to do so. The end of the attacks on Christie and the complete flip to calling for a beer summit was likely prompted by internal Rand polling showing that he was doing nothing but helping Christie, with his attacks.
