Understanding Rahmaland

Coppers on the scene after the scene.

Snippets from the Sun-Times report of the shooting of 13, including a 3-year-old boy, at an outdoor basketball court in the Back of the Yards neighborhood of Rahmaland, overnight.
As bullets began to fly about 10:15 p.m., the group scattered, taking cover wherever they could at Cornell Square Park, police and witnesses said.
---
“They’ve been coming round here looking for people to shoot every night — just gang-banging stuff. It’s what they do.”
---
At the scene of the shooting, a woman identified by family as the 3-year-old’s grandmother Semehca Nunn — who is the slain rapper’s mother — lashed out at police, yelling, “You . . . . cops can’t solve s---.”

And the crony poser is on his way back to Rahmaland:
Mayor Rahm Emanuel canceled meetings with two Cabinet members in Washington, D.C., and was heading back to Chicago in the wake of the shootings. He also canceled an appearance at a New Jersey rally for Senate candidate Cory Booker.

Denota Howard, 3, was shot in the cheek. She is listed in critical but stable condition.
