Woman Lets John McCain Have It

  1. You can't reason with psychopaths and you can't get them to empathize with you either. God bless this courageous woman for trying, though.

  2. The women is lucky that Ron Paul and the Christian Reconstructionists have not succeeded. Under Biblical law, that woman would be stoned to death.

    1. LOL! This may be the best trolling comment yet! Good job, "Wolfgang"!

    2. Well, maybe. But Jesus also admonished stone throwers.

It seems relevant to note, now, that in 2008 Ron Paul supported the candidate of a Christian supremacism party that masquerades under the name "Constitution Party". The preamble of the party's platform, as adopted at the 2012 national convention, includes telling passages such as

"The Constitution Party gratefully acknowledges the blessing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as Creator, Preserver and Ruler of the Universe and of these United States."

      and

"The goal of the Constitution Party is to restore American jurisprudence to its Biblical foundations..."

Nevertheless, Jesus committed suicide with the help of the Sanhedrin and SPQR, and while dying the cross he even contradicted his own earlier claim that he was one in being with his god. So, Jesus is not "Ruler".

Christians have other problems, too. They give no adequate responses to the parallel universes objection to Christianity or to the problem of punishing the innocent for the crimes of the guilty.

The parallel universes objection states that the god could have created new gardens of Eden in other universes and put fresh souls there instead of into this Earth after Adam and Eve were banished. This solves the problem supposedly solved by Jesus, and there is no reason for the fresh souls in those other universes to have been contaminated by the originated original sin traced to the actions of Adam and Eve in our world; the god's alleged omnipotence implies the power to design things such that there is no cross contamination from one soul to another or from one universe to another. And the god, which faces no opportunity costs, could have made as many other universes as were necessary to accommodate redesign of the product if repeated episodes of sin in the many gardens of Eden in one universe after another demonstrated a tendency in favor of failure.

But instead this world is filled up with billions of souls deliberately contaminated by the god, or so Christian theory implies. And the god's product is menaced and threatened with the consequences of the god's own negligence, irresponsibility, and, it seems, malice, even though the god is supposed to be a god of love. Christians call this arrangement justice, but I call it a reminder that the Christian god is imaginary.

  3. "An impartial investigation of the last war, of what preceded it and what has come out of it, would show beyond a doubt that there is in the world a group of men with vast powers of control, that prefers to remain unknown, that does not seek office or any of the tokens of power, that belongs to no nation whatever but is international—a force that uses every government, every widespread business organization, every agency of publicity, every resource of national psychology, to throw the world into a panic for the sake of getting still more power over the world. An old gambling trick used to be for the gambler to cry "Police!" when a lot of money was on the table, and, in the panic that followed, to seize the money and run off with it. There is a power within the world which cries "War!" and in the confusion of the nations, the unrestrained sacrifice which people make for safety and peace runs off with the spoils of the panic.

The point to keep in mind is that, though we won the military contest, the world has not yet quite succeeded in winning a complete victory over the promoters of war. We ought not to forget that wars are a purely manufactured evil and are made according to a definite technique. A campaign for war is made upon as definite lines as a campaign for any other purpose. First, the people are worked upon. By clever tales the people's suspicions are aroused toward the nation against whom war is desired. Make the nation suspicious; make the other nation suspicious. All you need for this is a few agents with some cleverness and no conscience and a press whose interest is locked up with the interests that will be benefited by war. Then the "overt act" will soon appear. It is no trick at all to get an "overt act" once you work the hatred of two nations up to the proper pitch.

There were men in every country who were glad to see the World War begin and sorry to see it stop. Hundreds of American fortunes date from the Civil War; thousands of new fortunes date from the World War. Nobody can deny that war is a profitable business for those who like that kind of money. War is an orgy of money, just as it is an orgy of blood."

    1. One of the true geniuses to walk among us.

It is a sad commentary that his work and fortune have been infiltrated and used against us through the Ford Foundation. Old Hank must be spinning in his grave...

  5. "I've supported you since they caught you on camera taking bribes." Why? We can't even criticize them without convincing them how much we like them first. Then we get to beg them to not be mass murderers. And when he tells her how lovely her country is, but he'll be destroying it anyway, some members of the audience applaud. Leaves me wondering, "Does she still support him?"
