President Obama: Expect Months of 'Glitches'

File under: Understatement of the decade.

“In the first week, first month, first three months, I would suspect that there will be glitches,” Obama told NPR News’ Steve Inskeep.

"This is 50 states, a lot of people signing up for something. And there are going to be problems. And I guarantee you, there will be problems because we’ve got precedent. When Massachusetts, just one state, set this up, it took quite a long time. It took several months before everything was smoothed out," he said.

  1. “In the first week, first month, first three months..." Priceless.

Glitchcare. Now's the time to poopoo it so badly before people get used to this.

  4. During the Reagan era I test drove a used car that pulled sharply to the right. The salesman assured it me it was because the car had just had a full overhaul and it would take a few months for it to "adjust" to the new components, but in the long run everything would "smooth out."

Didn't buy the piece of junk but the salesman made quite an impression on me. I realized then that the president--any president, not just the current occupant--is our national used car salesman. The current occupant certainly fits the bill.

  5. The biggest glitch was electing this clown. Twice.

    What were people thinking?

    1. Perhaps it was, "Do I choose the giant douche or the sh*t sandwich?"
