"Should Programmers Ignore Offers from Government to Work on the Obamacare Web Site?"

A friend emails the above question.

The answer is, "Of course, ignore any and all offers." The program is evil from start to finish. It is coercive, socialistic and will lead to a decline in life expectancy. The sooner it collapses, the better. Only mental midgets, perhaps Robert Reich and Paul Krugman, should do all the programming.

  3. Do not be a mental midget yourself. Give us the evidence or the coherent logical framework that leads you to conclude that it will be coercive, socialistic and will lead to decline in life expectancy. Have you published research and collected data to support your assertions?

    1. Do you know how to use google? Do me a favor and define 'coercive' and 'socialistic' and then show me how this isn't the very nature of AHA. That's your logic. Google for less life expectancy, the evidence abounds when services are socialized outcomes diminish.

    2. Yeah, and maybe read any of the dozens of previous posts regarding these arguments.

    3. [chuckling]... As if any amount of evidence would sway you.

    4. It's coercive because government IMPOSES it, smarty pants. If it didn't, there wouldn't be so many protests and legal challenges. People are not in the habit of protesting and legally challenging what they can either completely ignore or which is based purely on voluntary participation.
If you and your "coherent logical framework" can't even comprehend something so simple, why bother with the rest?

    5. Ah, another simpleton statist. They all have one thing in common: a below 40 IQ.

  4. Or even better, purposefully throw a few more monkey wrenches in the code until you get fired for incompetence(which will be "never"...LMAO!).

  5. You can't fix a bad project by throwing resources at it. The Mythical Man-Month and all that.

    1. Bingo! People have been trying to prove that axiom wrong for decades. More people on a project in trouble spells more trouble. The learning curve is always longer than the amount of time you have to fix the problems.

Better question: "Should Americans Ignore Offers from Government to Work on Anything?"
