I have a new article on the news and commentary website, "EpicTimes," on, "Barack Obama and the Meaning of Socialism."

Having, now, finished five years in office, Obama has attempted to implement a "progressive" agenda, but denies that he is "ideological."

I show that the origin and meaning of the interventionist and welfare state redistributionist polices that he pushes can be found and understood in terms of the evolution of socialist ideas in the 20th century.

And most especially, it is a denial of the creative individual who does "build it," in favor of a deeply collectivist conception of man, society, and government.
